Characteristics of Angular Contact Ball Bearings Empty Characteristics of Angular Contact Ball Bearings

Angular contact ball bearings are able to support radial load and axial load. As single row angular contact ball bearings can only support axial load in single direction, matched bearing mounting is often adopted to them. As matched pair of bearings, preload for them is more convenient. Retainer are made of brass, synthetic resins or others subject to individual bearing features and application conditions.

Characteristics of Angular Contact Ball Bearings are just like support of axial load in one direction only, adjustment against a second bearing is necessary, extended ball complement compared to deep groove ball bearings, high rigidity and loading capacity.

Externally applied loads are transmitted from one ring to the other along a specific contact angle. This can be achieved by adapting the angular contact ball bearings to the space available as well as increasing the operating speed of a given bearing size.
