Features of Manual slurry valves
The manual slurry valve provides high performance in a compact package which can be applied to the following fields :(1)mining; (2)power; (3)pulp and paper; (4)alumina; (5)chemical; (6)cement.
Manual slurry valve has many unique features:(1) patented, field replaceable elastomer sleeves available in a wide range of elastomers to meet varied applications; (2) dynamic self-adjusting secondary seal; (3) long lasting lubrication; (4) no metal parts in contact with the flowing slurry; (5) unobstructed flow part turbulence, minimizes pressure drop valve; (6) 100% isolation-bubble tight shut-offresults in absolutely zero; (7)downstream leakage; ( double-seated design provides bi-directional flow and shut-off; (9) no seat cavity where solids can collect and prevent full gate closure; (10) no gate or stem packing is required, eliminating packing leakage and maintenance; (11) adaptable yoke design featuring a top-removal stem nut, can be field modified to an air cylinder or bevel gear in the field without welding; (12) open-closed lockout brackets standard.
And there are also some information about standard configuration:(1) ductile iron body housings; (2) 316 stainless steel gate rated for 150 psi; (3) universal body housing drilled and tapped to match ansi b16.5 class 150 companion flanges; (4) high tear strength gum rubber sleeves with integral support rings; (5) gum rubber secondary sea.
