The Shaytan Series; an excellent reminder for all age
I have come across an excellent short series entitled “The
Shaytan Series.” These are basically short professionally made videos
on YouTube where it shows a situation of how Shaytan ambushes us in our
daily lives. For instance, when you are sleeping and it’s time for
Fajr, and you wake up, Shaytan lures you back to sleep through his soft
whispering and attractive ideas (”you still have 30 minutes…”).
Laa Ilaaha Illallaah. How many of us have fallen for this one?
Or when a Sister is about to go out somewhere and is dressing up,
Shaytan tells her to wear attractive clothes, makeup and a good
smelling perfume.
Laa Ilaaha Illallaah. How many of our sisters do we see do this, even at the Masjid!
So the actors in these short videos act this out. Just to tell you,
this is not some MSA style video where its hard to take seriously; this
is done professionally.
Subhana’Allaah, this is a brilliant idea. If someone has the time,
money, and ability to start, they should start a Shaytan series as well
(if they can’t get in contact with the original starters of the series).
At a first glance, this series might look like a laughing matter or joke. But deep down inside, we all know that this is exactly
how it happens! So it’s no laughing matter, but it is a scary, scary
reality. This is how he works. Walahi, this is how Shaytan works.
Shaytan indeed has over thousands of years of experience and we must
all watch ourselves from falling into his trap. He is no fool. He knows
us very well. No person today is saved from Shaytan, so we must
continue to wage our Jihaad against him and be harsh with him the way
‘Umar ibn al-Khattab (radiyallahu ‘anhu) was harsh against his Shaytan,
so much so, that his Shaytan would look to see down the alleys and
roads where ‘Umar was going, so that he (shaytan) can take another path
to avoid ‘Umar!

And just look at how perfectly they capture the slinkering whispers
and smoothness of the Shaytan! They really have done a professional job.
PS: if anyone does get into contact with them, tell the editors to
do one where they have Shaytan attempting to stop the Muslim from doing
Jihaad. That would be great. Then we’ll see all the Munaafiqeen showing
their chests.
Also, the first and third video don’t show women properly covered…
this is the only strange thing I found… they make one video showing
that it is from Shaytan to look at women, and then they show a sister
that doesn’t wear hijaab nor jilbaab in another video (in the third
video). As for the first video, it shows a sister not wearing hijaab
properly. They probably used the excuse of “it shows the reality…” but
everyone knows that this is a flimsy excuse. We ask Allah they realize
this mistake and that they continue making good videos (like the rest).
May Allah save us from ash-Shaytan ar-Rajeem, the enemy of the enemies, the cursed of the cursed.
