It is possible to force users to press the Ctrl+Alt+Delete keys before the login
authentication process begins on a Windows system. This additional security
feature can be enabled by following these steps:

1. Open the regedit.exe
file

2. Search for the following registry key or create a new
one:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft|WindowsNT\Cu
rrentVersion\Winlogon

3. Create a new DWORD entry called
DisableCAD and modify its data value to 0 to require Ctrl+Alt+Delete keys
to be pressed and to 1 to disable this feature.

4. Exit the Windows
registry and restart the Windows session for the change to be applied
